What is North2South4MND
I have the pleasure in participating in this challenge for a Charity that does great work to help those who have Motor Neuron Disease. Motor Nearon Disease kills 5 people everyday in the UK, their life expectancy is between 2 and 5 years and leaves people unable to walk, talk or feed for themselves. The MND Association provides care and support for people who have MND and their carers.
As a way of donating to this charity I have decided to donate £5 from every wax referral patient from the begining of July until the enad of August. During the challenge I will upload new blogs throughout the whole 4 days.
40+ people - Cycling from Llandudno to Bridgend whilst also climbing the 3 highest peaks in Wales Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Penyfan), all in foru days to raise awareness and funds for the Motor Neuron Disease Association (MNDA)
The experience within the group to perform these challenges is that we are all novices - this will be a very tough challenge over the four days from the time spent in the saddle and cycling elevation to scaling the heights of the 3 Welsh Peaks.
The team will set off to Llandudno in North wales on the Thursday 23rd August and will look to complete this challenge in the evening of the BAnk Holiday Monday 27th at Bridgend in South Wales.
